Welcome to the submission portal for the Indo Eurasian Journal of Medical Sciences (IEJMS).

To maintain our commitment to rapid and rigorous peer review, IEJMS requires all submissions to be complete, ethically compliant, and properly formatted at the time of initial submission.

1. Mandatory pre-submission checklist

Ensure you have the following separate files prepared and ready to submit. Text documents must be in an editable format (for example .docx).

• Cover letter. Must state the article type, the primary clinical or scientific finding, confirm the work is original and not under consideration elsewhere, and optionally suggest up to three potential reviewers.
• Title page (unblinded). Must include the full manuscript title, all authors' names, institutional affiliations, ORCID iDs, the corresponding author's contact details, and all mandatory declarations (funding, conflict of interest, ethical approval reference numbers, trial registration numbers, and data availability statements).
• Main manuscript (anonymised). Must contain the structured abstract, main text, references, and figure and table legends. Crucial: ensure all author-identifying information, institutional affiliations, and identifying document metadata have been completely removed from this file to facilitate double-blind peer review.
• Figures and tables. High-resolution image files (TIFF, EPS or high-resolution PDF; minimum 300 dpi for clinical photographs, 600 dpi for charts and graphs) and editable tables.
• EQUATOR reporting checklist. The completed EQUATOR Network checklist relevant to your study design (CONSORT for trials, STROBE for observational studies, PRISMA for systematic reviews, CARE for case reports).
• Supplementary documentation, if applicable. Copies of ethical approval letters, signed patient consent-to-publish forms for identifiable images, or permission letters for reproduced material.

2. Author agreements

By proceeding with this submission, the corresponding author formally confirms the following on behalf of all co-authors:

1. Originality. The manuscript represents original research that has not been published previously (except as an academic thesis or preprint) and is not simultaneously under review by any other journal.
2. Authorship. All listed authors meet the four ICMJE criteria for authorship, have approved the final manuscript, and agree to be accountable for the work.
3. Ethical compliance. The study complies with the Declaration of Helsinki. All required Institutional Review Board or ethics committee approvals were obtained prior to the study, and informed consent was collected from all human participants.
4. Clinical trial registration. If the submission is a clinical trial, it was prospectively registered in a WHO-recognised public registry (CTRI, ClinicalTrials.gov or equivalent) prior to enrolment of the first subject.
5. Open access and no publication fees. IEJMS operates under a Diamond Open Access model. If accepted for publication, the article will be freely distributed under a CC BY 4.0 licence. There are no article processing charges, submission fees, or publication fees of any kind.

3. Proceed to submission

Upon successful submission, the corresponding author will receive an automated acknowledgement email containing a unique manuscript tracking number.
